190th ANNIVERSARY THEME
“Honoring Our Roots, Igniting Tomorrow.”
This theme beautifully captures the heart of our journey as an institution. It reflects our deep gratitude for the legacy that has shaped our identity—rooted in the values, discipline, and vision passed down through generations of Wrigley girls. It is an acknowledgment of the foundations laid by our founding mother, Harriet Wrigley, whose unwavering dedication continues to inspire everything Wesley Girls’ stands for today.
As the Wesley Girls Community celebrates the 190th anniversary of its founding, this theme also challenges us to look forward with renewed purpose and bold imagination. Igniting Tomorrow speaks to our commitment to nurture a future defined by innovation, unity, and excellence. It urges us to build upon the strong foundation we have inherited and to carry our legacy into a new era of progress.

In this significant year, we are intentional about strengthening the current building blocks of the Wesley Girls’ Community - Basic School (Primary and JHS), and SHS. They will come together as one united Wesley Girls’ Community to commemorate 190 years of our story to reaffirm that the future of Wrigley’s legacy begins with the laying of a foundation just as it was envisioned by Harriet Wrigley. On this 190th Wrigley Day, as we stand side by side across generations, we honor our shared roots while igniting a brighter tomorrow—strengthening the bond that unites us and ensuring that Harriet Wrigley’s spirit continues to flourish for centuries to come.
